National Thank Your Commentors Day

That’s right, I hereby declare this day, June 17th, “National Thank Your Commenter Day.” You guys are basically the life force that keep me blogging, carrying on the conversation to a level that I cannot do alone, you guys make my blog worth reading.

Often times we don’t think about the commenting section as the meat of a blog, but (at least in my case) it often turns out to be the better section. Some enlightening conversations have been carried on because of the commenting section, and I’m immensely thankful for that commenting section.

So, in no particular order (seriously, I put the names in a flippin’ hat so no one would get miffed at their position), I’d like to thank the following commenter for making this blog far better than I could achieve by myself. If you’d like to host a commenter thank you day, today is the day (I’ve made it national, thus it must be today)

So, thank you to:

Jim Marks

Blake Huggins

Corey LeCureux (even though I have to look every time I want to type out your last name)

Derek Foster

(Recent active commenter:) Tristan Weeks

Andrew Martin (who’s apparent massive flight schedule precludes him from being so active, or maybe it’s my content :) )

And if you’d like to get a shout out next year, become more active in a blog, we all thrive on your comments.

  • Aw. Thanks :-). I guess I'm into big carbon deficit right now. Hi from San Diego. I've lacked the attention span to make much in the way of comment lately. Opentabletheology has largely passed me by :-( so although I contributed a short piece, I haven't been able to weigh in on the other articles. sorry.

  • Speaking of Open Table, your post will be up tomorrow! It should have been today, but I've had, what can only be referred to as, a crapton of work to do.
