I’m Alive!
My apologies for having been out for the past week. For those of you that don’t follow me on Twitter, I was in the hospital for a few days due to a severe (antibiotic resistant) strain of Staph. My wife (dutifully) updated my twitter account with my status, and I’m touched by the well wishes and prayers I recieved while I was in the hospital. I’m also very touched by those who came to visit me in the hospital, it’s something that I never really thought about before, but I’m blessed with some amazing friends and family, so if you’re reading this, thank you again.
I’ve been “out of the saddle” for over a week now, but I wanted to touch base and say all is well, and I’m about to start writing again. Should have something up in the next couple days.
Finally, to all the Metro Atlanta people, the Cobb Gathering (an emergent cohort) will be meeting @ Johnnie MacCrakens tomorrow night (Tuesday, May 12th). I encourage everyone to come out, the conversation got quite good last month, and it was decided to keep the topic close to what we were discussing last month.
