Kool Aid

So Tony Jones new book “The New Christians” (reviewed here) talks about some of the churches he goes to playing trance music.

That term, trance music, makes me think “Don’t drink the kool-aid” yet it’s actually a somewhat normal thing within churches.

So, what I want to know is if you’ve ever had a “Don’t drink the kool-aid” moment (and of course tell me a bit about it) attending churches or reading “christian” books.
